A Talk with Bilel A. Choutri, emerging accessories designer from Paris who shares with us the challenges of running a new fashion brand in uncertain time. Bill unveils the process of creation of his signature products and shares his unique vision inspired by the respect of the environment and the balance between of digital & artisanal.
We first met Bilel A. Choutri at the haute couture presentation in the midst of lock down in Paris. He was studying at the School of design Condé which he graduated in 2021. Since then this young and ambitious French design artiste has been completed few internships in such fashion industry leaders as Dior and Adidas. Valuable experience which enabled him to launch his own project.
B.A.C. (standing for the designer’s name) is an experimental studio where Bilel creates accessories and design objects. Modern world “illnesses” such as environmental issues and capitalist labor approach, hugely influence his work. While comfort and originality guide his imagination to create unique pieces largely implementing 3D printing and other digital technologies. A mixture of street wear and artisanal hand-made makes Bilel stand apart on the highly competitive Parisian marketplace. Determined and engaged but humble and visionary at the same time, Bilel A. Choutri represents one of the best outcomes of the future in the industrial and accessories design market.
