“3D is equal to creative freedom, and it allows me to create virtual worlds of architecture, people, dreams and souls.”

What makes the 3D more exciting for you? Why did you decide to work in this style?

For me, 3D is equal to creative freedom, and it allows me to create virtual worlds of architecture, people, dreams and souls. I can go from realistic to abstract style. With one creative gesture I can use different medium to tell my stories.

Descriing the collaboration with Eythora, you said that capturing movement for artist is one of the most everlasting challenges. Can you name any artists, who you think succeeded to do so?

In Renasissace sculpture many artists have managed to capture the movement, imprisoning it in a block of marble, which remains eternal. The synthesis of all this is The rape of Sabine woman by Giambologna.

Are you inspired by their techniques? What other directions of art do you find inspirational for your own work?

From Renaissance artists I try to obtain the feeling for the body harmony and the importance of emotional tension that one position can give compared to another.

For collaboration with Eythora, you decided to portray two figures, pretty different by their nature — one static, and the other one very dynamic. Why did you decide to juxtapose two such different states?

I wanted to accentuate the pattern of the movement.

Some fashion designers are famous for creating 3D dresses, like Iris Van Herpen, Issey Miyake, etc. Would you ever consider transforming your art into fashion?

I’ve been thinking about transforming my art in a dress or a jewel for a while. The fashion world attracts me. As an architect and designer I have been collaborating with the famous Italian brand Ermenegildo Zegna, and designed popup stores and windows around the world.

How do you think 3D art could be beneficial for street style fashion?

The 3D art can add a lot to street style fashion thanks to its versatility: from a 3D model it’s possible to obtain an illustration, to simulate clothing in virtual reality, to design, and to create fashion accessories with complex shapes.
