Tell us the story about how you discovered yourself as an illustrator and collagist (do we say collagist?)
For a photographer, it all starts with a composition. What does it start with for you? Describe your work process. How do you masterpieces come to life?
Have you ever heard about «the fear of a blank page»? «The page» causes anxiety because it’s filled with endless possibilities. Have you ever experienced this in you work, when you look at an initial picture and can’t do anything because there’re so many things you can do?
My mind it’s always creating things, I’m a very visual guy, so if you tell me something I start immediately to see visions on my head of how I see your words and when I’m with anxiety that’s bigger. I felt that fear when I was really tired, but I listen some music and my head started to work again.
Scrolling down your IG feed, we noticed that one of the most repetitive elements in your collages is eyes. Is there a reason for that? Are there any other hidden repetitive elements that you incorporate in you works?
I love people eyes, of all the colors and shapes, I love how we can express with our eyes, sometimes speaks before the mouth and that’s why I used them so much. Sometimes I use catholic elements, because I was in a catholic school when I was a child and i had tons of questions that my teachers never knew how to answered me. I love big hairs, lips and how the body can express things using the arms.
Your collages are very unique and eye-catching, Do you plan on taking your art to metaverse and issuing some NFT’s?
Share your opinion about NFT’s? Do you see good development opportunities in the metaverse? Explain, please.
In your IG we also noticed a limited collection of T-shirts with your designs? Have you had any other fashion design-related projects. Do you like working in this field
Yes, I recently launched my first T-Shirts collection in a retail store. I was so happy to bring my art to more people. Last year I launched my first fashion illustrations book and It was all about paper dolls, so I designed all the outfits of the characters of the book. I really love fashion, I love express how I feel on what I wear, I had some projects on my mind, I would love to have my own fashion collection soon.
